Alpha Omega Phi was originally chartered as two separate organizations under one incorporation but with quick wit and innovation, our Founders decided to incorporate the very first Military Greek Fraternity/Sorority. Thus, Alpha Omega Phi Military Fraternity/Sorority, Inc. was born.

The name Alpha Omega Phi is an extension of the historic Military Drill team from West Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. They were called the Alpha Omega Phi Drill Masters and they changed the perception of stepping in the drill team world. The Drill Masters were the only drill team to display military style stepping. Their legacy continues with our incorporated organization.

Our Greek letters represent the beginning, the end, and everything in between. Our colors represent our service to the country.

Alpha Omega Phi was established on March 10, 2017 focused on the principles of Brotherhood/Sisterhood, Commitment, Service, and Stability. The Alpha line., whose motto is “1 Soul, 1 Mind,” crossed on May 20, 2017 and set the standard for Military Greek organizations around the country.
